Job Summary

The Senior Controllership Analyst role is a key position in our Shared Services Team. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for providing financial support and guidance to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data.

This role requires strong technical accounting knowledge, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting or audit, with experience in financial reporting and analysis. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is highly desirable.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and posting journal entries for approval
  • Ensuring financial data is accurate, complete, and properly recorded
  • Maintaining organized reconciliation records with supporting documentation
  • Generating and closing GL, AR, and AP reports for management review
  • Uploading ERP trial balances into consolidation systems
  • Performing Balance Sheet and Trial Balance reconciliations
  • Assisting in preparing statutory and consolidated financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulations
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Strong technical accounting knowledge with the ability to resolve complex issues
  • Proficient in financial reporting tools and systems (e.g., Excel, ERP platforms)
  • Skilled in analyzing and interpreting complex financial data
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to explain financial information to non-financial stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and data quality
  • Capable of working independently, handling multiple priorities, and meeting deadlines
