Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage patient accounts by performing inbound and outbound calling to resolve queries and concerns.
  • Utilize medical billing systems and payment portals to resolve account balances and process payments.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure proper account handling and resolution.
  • Process payments, create and distribute correspondence, and collect upfront deposits or set up payment arrangements.
  • Meet or exceed performance objectives including collection and quality assurance goals.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of college education.
  • 1 year of experience in a customer service role.
  • 1 year of healthcare experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience communicating effectively with customers and simplifying complex billing.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet performance objectives.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain HIPAA compliance.
