Community Corrections Case Manager Role

This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in your community by working with individuals under supervision orders.

The Community Corrections team delivers evidence-informed case management and individualized support to people in the community, aiming to protect the community and reduce reoffending.

You will negotiate and resolve conflicts with stakeholders at all levels to gain commitments and negotiate service delivery, priorities, deadlines, resources, and other relevant issues.

  • Work self-sufficiently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Apply knowledge of legislation to deliver core services.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, negotiating on sensitive and complex issues.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Negotiate service delivery, priorities, deadlines, resources, and other relevant issues.
  • Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Deliver core services using knowledge of legislation.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Possess a valid driver's license, minimum C class Australian license.
  • Be willing to work outside normal hours, travel, or temporarily work from an alternate location.
  • Complete Certificate IV in Correctional Practice (Community) within 12 months of employment and achieve certification within 18 months.
