Job Description

The DCX Staff Accountant role is a full-time opportunity for a growing business based in the United States. This position allows you to learn new skills and demonstrate your expertise.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills are required to succeed in this role.
  • A strong attention to detail, ability to work well with co-workers, and desire to continuously improve your skills are necessary characteristics of the job.
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and other supporting schedules to ensure financial reporting accuracy.
  • Collaborate with outside CPA firms and auditors to guarantee accurate financial reporting.
  • Support onsite property management staff by reviewing general ledger and recording monthly journal entries in a timely manner.
  • Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and timely processing of assigned tasks.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's Degree is required, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred or someone on that path.
  • 2-4 years related experience with exposure to multiple entity ownership structures.
  • Multifamily experience is preferred for the Staff Accountant role, but commercial experience will be considered.
