Project Professional

Drive business growth and product development as a key professional with our organization. We seek an exceptional individual to lead strategic planning projects for Engineering and Business, including third-party integrations, marketplace expansion, eCommerce technology, and business initiatives such as General Ledger replacements and department tool enhancements.

About the Role

This high-impact position involves developing and executing process strategies to propel business forward. As a skilled Project Manager, you will own and lead projects that drive automation, platform, and feature enhancements, ensuring seamless integration and efficient workflow.

Responsibilities

• Process Strategy: Develop comprehensive plans for Engineering and Business, integrating third-party solutions, driving marketplace expansion, and enhancing eCommerce capabilities.
• Process Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams in executing business projects, facilitating stakeholder engagement, and delivering results-driven outcomes.
• Platform & Feature Enhancement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, automate workflows, and enhance platform features to drive business efficiency.

Requirements & Development Lifecycle

• Stakeholder Engagement & Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather product requirements, facilitate discussions, and ensure Engineering receives detailed specifications.
• Product Definition & Prioritization: Translate high-level product requirements into actionable tasks, prioritize based on LOE and/or ROI, and lead development meetings with Jira.
• Business Solutions: Design and develop technology-based process improvements to drive automation, collaborating with Business Departments to deliver results-driven solutions.

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL PM & PROBLEM RESOLUTION

• Business & Technology Workflow Enhancement: Improve project outcomes by understanding business and technology workflows, enhancing operational efficiency, and driving automation.
• Project Facilitation & Completion: Facilitate effective project completion across stakeholders from technology teams to business functions, resolving conflicts and roadblocks.
• Conflict Resolution & Roadblock Management: Identify and resolve conflicts, priorities, and roadblocks to enable the team to achieve goals.
• Technical Understanding & Advocacy: Work with the business to understand the platform, its integrations, and features, bridging technical capabilities with business needs.
• Business Re-engineering & Automation: Manage technology development efforts while supporting business re-engineering, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent practical experience) and at least 5 years of related PM experience, ideally with eCommerce knowledge.
• eCommerce Platform Expertise: Proficiency in eCommerce platforms, ERP systems, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Databases (SQL Server and MySQL), and reporting platforms (Cognos and MS SSRS).
• Product Documentation: Ability to document product requirements with sufficient knowledge and clarity for technical teams.
• Requirements Analysis: Experience performing thorough requirements analysis through independent research and testing methodologies.
• Project Management Tools: Proficiency with Jira, Asana, Monday.com, or similar PM tools.
• Methodology Acumen: Knowledge of SDLC, Agile, Scrum, Kanban, GAP Analysis, SWOT, and related methodologies.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, able to articulate complex concepts to business audiences.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and proactive problem-solving skills.
• Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment.
• Strategic Mindset: Willingness to challenge status quo and contribute innovative ideas.
• Client-Facing Experience: Direct client-facing experience is desirable but not mandatory.
