Senior Quality Assurance Manager

As a Senior Quality Assurance Manager, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality software solutions by overseeing and managing testing and defect resolution processes. This position is ideal for a quality-driven, detail-oriented professional with a strong background in software development and testing tools.

In this role, you will lead and manage testing efforts across multiple projects, ensuring a quality-driven approach that goes beyond basic testing to validate software functionality comprehensively. You will collaborate with teams to ensure the accuracy, functionality, and reliability of various software projects.

• Produce and present internal governance engagement packs for review, aligning with the Test Management toolkit (Testimate, Technical Solution Checklist, and Test Strategy/Approach), ensuring timely submission for project, account, or customer review and approval.
  
• Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop and implement the test approach/strategy for engagements.
  
• Document testing risks and assumptions using appropriate risk management tools and manage them effectively throughout the project lifecycle.
  
• Provide input into process improvement and standard development by completing lessons-learned reports at the end of assignments.
  
• Oversee defect management processes, ensuring accurate identification, documentation, and resolution of defects when needed.
  
• Enforce strict adherence to testing and defect management processes, ensuring thorough documentation and quality control.
  
• Coach and guide teams in using QTest and ALM tools for effective test management and tracking.
  
• Leverage your expertise to provide insights and guidance on key value streams, including HR, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and Data Analytics.
  
• Perform change impact analysis using Live Compare on S/4 systems and manage CHARM documentation.
  
• Assess and determine the suitability of Tosca sections for manual or automated validation and perform exploratory testing as necessary.
  
• Participate in S/4 upgrade projects, including supporting infrastructure for sandbox environments.
  
• Monitor and manage testing efforts across approximately 25 active projects, ensuring all initiatives are on track.
  
• Communicate effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and concise reporting and documentation.
  
• Collaborate with remote teams, ensuring work is aligned with the USA EST time zone.
  

• 10+ years of experience with SAP, including comprehensive knowledge of SAP value streams (HR, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and Data Analytics).
  
• Strong knowledge and experience in ALM and QTest, with experience coaching teams on effective usage of QTest.
  
• Hands-on experience with Tosca and Live Compare, with the ability to apply these tools effectively in various testing scenarios.
  
• Expertise in performing change impact analysis, managing CHARM documents, and handling Bills of Materials (BOM) of impacted objects.
  
• Proven experience in manual and automation testing, with the ability to assess and decide when automation or manual testing is most appropriate.
  
• Skilled in exploratory testing, uncovering potential risks and unknown issues within systems.
  
• Strong experience in test strategy development, capable of assessing, prioritizing, and making informed decisions on testing approaches (manual vs. automated).
  
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  
• Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.
  
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, within the USA EST time zone.
  
• Previous experience in a similar Test Management/Test Lead role is strongly preferred.
