Financial Controller Position

As a key member of our team, the Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of our business. This includes managing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments to vendors and collections from customers, maintaining accurate records for audit readiness, and providing regular financial insights to support strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:
  • Accounts Receivable and Payable: Ensure all transactions are reconciled accurately and on time, maintain strong cash flow, and make timely payments to vendors.
  • Inventory and Cost of Goods Management: Reconcile inventory balances regularly, collaborate with the operations team to streamline inventory processes, and provide SKU-level profitability insights.
  • Cost Management: Analyze operational expenses monthly, identify cost-saving opportunities, and work closely with department heads to optimize spending and improve EBITDA.
  • Payroll and Benefits Administration: Oversee payroll processing, ensure accuracy and timeliness, and comply with legal requirements.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
  • 5+ years in accounting with 2+ years in a leadership role
  • Proven track record in process improvement and cost savings
  • Experience in eCommerce or retail is an advantage
