Accounting Professional Needed

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Professional with a background in the construction industry.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial transactions, accounting software, and regulatory compliance.

  • Financial Transactions: Manage accounts payable and receivable, reconcile bank statements, and prepare financial reports.
  • Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions in accounting software.
  • Budgeting: Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial statements.
  • Payroll Processing: Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  • Expense Tracking: Track invoices, expenses, and payments to ensure timely collections and disbursements.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the construction industry and job costing is highly desirable.
  • Software Skills: Strong knowledge of QuickBooks, Xero, or other accounting software.
  • Candidate Qualities: Excellent organizational and analytical skills, strong English communication skills, high attention to detail, and ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
