Quality Assurance Specialist

At our company, we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Specialist who can also take on support and project management responsibilities.

This role will ensure our digital projects meet the highest quality standards, while also acting as a bridge between clients and the development team.

  • Review and test completed work to identify defects, inconsistencies, or usability issues.

  • Log and track bugs in Trello, providing clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence.

  • Identify not only task-specific defects but also related side issues that could impact project quality.

  • Ensure issues are addressed before delivery to the client.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Liaise directly with clients to assess incoming support requests, clarifying requirements where needed.
  2. Translate client feedback into actionable tasks for the development team.
  3. Prioritize and manage support tickets to ensure timely resolution.
  4. Track project progress and update relevant stakeholders.
  5. Send back completed work / tasks to client for testing with clear communication and steps to test

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in manual QA, ideally within a digital agency or software development environment.
  • Strong familiarity with Trello, Jira, or similar project management tools.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work directly with clients.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to think beyond the immediate task.
  • Proactive in identifying issues before they are raised by the client.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
