Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Software Quality Assurance Engineer. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

About the Role

This position involves designing, developing, and executing comprehensive manual test cases and test plans to identify defects and ensure software quality. The successful candidate will also be responsible for reviewing software requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to understand project needs.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential in this role, where the QA engineer will provide input on testability and quality, and participate in design and requirement reviews.

Mentoring junior QA testers and staying updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in software testing are also key responsibilities of this position.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in manual software testing.
  • Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in creating detailed test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
  • Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and teamwork abilities, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
