The role of Accounting Specialist involves maintaining accurate and timely financial records and reporting to support business operations. The specialist will perform bookkeeping and accounting tasks including journal entries, bank and credit card reconciliations, and monthly and quarterly reporting.
The specialist will function as part of the Finance team to ensure financial processes are accurate and organized.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining accurate and timely financial records and reporting;
- Performing bookkeeping and accounting tasks including journal entries, bank and credit card reconciliations, and monthly and quarterly reporting;
- Functioning as part of the Finance team to ensure financial processes are accurate and organized.
Our ideal candidate has:
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Proven experience in accounting or finance with knowledge of GAAP and basic accounting principles;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic knowledge of accounting software (experience with Sage is a plus).
