
Financial Records Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented financial professional to manage financial records, reconcile accounts, and support property management operations.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate financial records for multiple properties using advanced accounting software
- Process accounts payable and receivable, including vendor bills and tenant payments
- Reconcile bank accounts, trust accounts, and credit card statements monthly
- Prepare owner statements, financial reports, and draw schedules
- Monitor and manage tenant ledgers, security deposits, and lease-related transactions
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and real estate-specific accounting standards
- Collaborate with property managers to resolve discrepancies and support audits
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and year-end financial preparations
- Handle tax documentation and regulatory filings as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
- CPA or Bookkeeping Certification (a plus)
- Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in real estate
- Proven expertise in advanced accounting software
- Experience managing financials for multiple properties or portfolios
- Advanced proficiency in AppFolio, QuickBooks, and Excel
- Strong understanding of real estate accounting principles
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Familiarity with U.S. property management practices
- Experience with trust account reconciliation and owner draw processes
- Comfortable working in a remote, fast-paced environment
