Senior Engineer Leadership Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to lead our Engine room team.

The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth operation of Engines and machinery equipment, thereby contributing to optimal vessel performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Engine room team to achieve maximum efficiency
  • Oversee repairs and maintenance operations for dry docking purposes
  • Maintain valid certifications in accordance with STCW standards for the position
  • Develop effective communication strategies within the team
  • Promote a culture of safety and responsibility among the crew
Vessel Requirements
  • A minimum of 12 months' experience in a rank with engine type (MAN B&W 2 stroke, output 8000kw and above) is required
  • Experience with electronic engines is advantageous
  • Cargo gear experience, including deck Crane 30MT SWL, is also beneficial
  • Trading area experience in regions such as USA and Australia is highly recommended
Contract Terms and Conditions
  • The contract duration will be approximately 6 months, subject to certain conditions
  • A competitive salary package will be offered
  • The terms and conditions will follow the Collective Bargaining Agreement applicable at the time
  • A rejoining bonus may be available
