Job Title: Strategy and Innovations Lead

This is a leadership role that requires the ability to develop and implement strategic plans for forecasting and innovation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and machine learning, as well as excellent communication and project management skills.

The successful candidate will lead the development of new forecasting models and improve existing ones based on business requirements. They will also be responsible for representing the Business Forecasting team as the Technical Point of Contact (POC) for all enablement initiatives.

In addition, the Strategy and Innovations Lead will research and develop Machine Learning solutions and applications of Artificial Intelligence for Business Forecasting to address specific business needs. This may include recommender systems, forecasting, natural language processing, network science, and reinforcement learning.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for forecasting and innovation.
  • Lead the development of new forecasting models and improve existing ones based on business requirements.
  • Represent the Business Forecasting team as the Technical POC for all enablement initiatives.
  • Research and develop Machine Learning solutions and applications of Artificial Intelligence for Business Forecasting to address specific business needs.

Qualifications
  • At least 1-2 years experience in an equivalent or functionally similar data role.
  • An undergraduate degree preferably in Statistics, Computer Science, Physical Science, Economics, or a related technical field.
  • A strong and demonstrable understanding of SQL and Python or R for advanced analysis.
  • A strong and demonstrable understanding of machine learning with big data.
  • Familiarity with data cloud services surrounding analytical and automation functions.
  • Familiarity with version control software such as git.
  • A talent for research and the presentation of interpretable insight.
