The role of Demand Management and Capacity Planning Manager is a vital position in ensuring our network meets customer needs. It involves analyzing network performance, contributing to demand forecasting, and supporting capacity planning initiatives.

Key responsibilities include developing comprehensive work plans for demand forecasting, including nomination processes, site prioritization based on demand and business needs, research and fieldwork to identify cluster needs, competitive assessment of capacity distribution, and analysis of reports from the demand analytics team. Collaboration with Sales is essential for validating and refining forecasts.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Demand Forecasting: Develop accurate demand forecasts by analyzing historical data, market trends, and other relevant factors. This includes creating models that take into account various scenarios and assumptions.
  • Capacity Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of current and future network capacity needs, identifying potential gaps and developing solutions to address them. This may involve facility upgrades or expansions, as well as collaborating with stakeholders to ensure alignment.
  • Stakeholder Management: Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing timely feedback and escalating issues related to facility requests. Effective communication is crucial for achieving project goals and meeting customer needs.
  • Project Management: Lead special projects related to demand management and capacity planning, ensuring timely delivery of DMCP initiatives. This requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to network capacity and utilization, preparing regular reports and presentations for management. Coordination with the Sales Analytics team is necessary for obtaining necessary data.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in Sales/Market Analysis, Business Intelligence, or a related field is required.
  • Strong understanding of project, operational, and people management principles is essential.
  • Experience in cross-functional team management and customer service is highly valued.
  • Organizational understanding of products, services, sales processes, markets, businesses, industries, network builds, and business analytics is also important.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is necessary.
