Job Overview:

The Director of Ecommerce will lead digital revenue expansion and optimize online customer activations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage profitability for ecommerce channels, including direct-to-consumer, Amazon, social marketplaces, and retailer websites.
  • Lead and refine the ecommerce forecasting process.
  • Identify and execute new revenue and profit opportunities.
  • Optimize online merchandising, bundling, sales, and promotions to drive business growth.
  • Develop and implement A/B testing strategies to enhance average order value, conversion rate, and site performance.
  • Utilize UI/UX insights and analytics to balance site performance with a seamless customer experience.
  • Oversee CRM strategies to enhance customer engagement, retention, and education.
  • Own the product roadmap, including new product launches, promotions, and digital funnel optimizations.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record in ecommerce management with a strong analytical mindset.
  • Expertise in P&L management and forecasting.
  • Deep understanding of performance marketing and A/B testing methodologies.
  • Proficiency in UI/UX best practices.
  • Experience with Shopify, ReCharge, Klaviyo, and third-party ecommerce applications.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO, ecommerce analytics, and customer journey optimization.

Immediate Objectives: Gain familiarity with all ecommerce channels, onboard with platform integrations, conduct an audit of the digital funnel, review ecommerce profitability and forecasting, and present a 90-day action plan.

Short-Term Objectives: Execute key initiatives from the 90-day plan, audit data flows, assess SEO, site performance, UI/UX, and customer journey, implement a robust A/B testing strategy, establish regular performance reporting, and begin managing CRM strategy.

Long-Term Objectives: Deliver measurable improvements in ecommerce revenue and profitability, achieve significant optimization in CVR, AOV, and CLV, lead successful product launches and promotional campaigns, and oversee the implementation of new digital features.
