
Senior Technical Support Specialist

As a highly skilled L3 Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for resolving complex technical issues directly with customers. You will act as the primary escalation point from tier 1 and tier 2 support technicians, providing training to these teams as needed.
Advanced troubleshooting skills are required for server network issues, including hardware from Cisco, Fortinet, Meraki, Dell, Palo Alto, Ubiquiti, and SonicWall. Additionally, expertise in Microsoft products, including Windows Server, Azure, Cloud Computing, desktop operating systems, and hardware is essential.
You will also have experience with Citrix Environments, including XenApp, XenDesktop, and Netscaler products, as well as virtualization design, implementation, and support (VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix Xen).
Familiarity with various storage appliances and technologies used in enterprise installations is necessary, including iSCSI, RAID, SAN, NAS. Expertise in Office 365/Azure administration and migrations is also required.
The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, excellent communication skills for direct client interaction and team collaboration, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote setting.
Responsibilities include device firmware and OS patching/upgrades across multiple platforms, maintaining and updating documentation along with creation of technical procedures, and project ownership — handling assigned projects and meeting deadlines consistently.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Relevant certifications preferred: Microsoft (MCSA/MCSE), Azure Administrator/Engineer, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, VMware VCP, Citrix CCA/CCP, Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto PCNSA/PCNSE.
- 5+ years in advanced systems/network administration, preferably in MSP or enterprise environment.
