Job Title: Junior Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience in AU accounting and finance, with hands on experience with Xero accounting software.

About the Role:
  • The Junior Accountant will provide support to the Accounts Department, managing obligations to suppliers, clients and third-party vendors.
  • They will reconcile financial statements from suppliers, prepare and send invoices, and manage inter-company transactions.
  • Additionally, they will assist with Payroll, ensure consumer statements are sent out accurately and timely, and handle communications with clients, suppliers and employees via phone, email and in-person.
  • The Junior Accountant will also assist with audits, reviews and resolve discrepancies, update internal accounting databases and spreadsheets, and support ad hoc accounting duties to assist the broader team.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in AU accounting and finance.
  • Hands on experience with Xero accounting software.
  • Intermediate computer software skills, including Excel (VLOOKUPs and tables).
  • Strong data entry skills with an ability to identify numerical errors.
  • Aged care and NDIS experience preferred.
  • Experience in construction and maintenance sector industry.
  • Arabic language skills.
