Hardware Design Engineer - Opportunity Overview

This is a stimulating opportunity to contribute to the design of innovative hardware products. As a key member of a team responsible for hardware development, you will be part of a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and evaluate alternative components for cost reduction, quality improvement, and increased manufacturability.
  • Review and verify design changes for impact on function, performance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Presentation of design proposals to local and international teams, with participation in design reviews.
  • Collaboration with worldwide teams to ensure product specifications are maintained throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Development of qualification test plans and conduct of component-level testing.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Electronics Engineering, or any equivalent field.
  • Minimum 5 years of related work experience in Hardware Engineering or Component Engineering, including:
    • Analog and digital circuit design.
    • Embedded microprocessor & FPGA design.
    • Understanding of signal integrity for high-speed design.
    • On-board power supply design (voltage conversion).
  • Familiarity with PCB design and layout techniques, component placement, and signal routing.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively relay technical information to exchange ideas on product architectures and design proposals.
  • Ability to resolve moderately sophisticated problems through analytical thinking.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Understanding of electrical safety standards.
  • Experience working with PCB CAD tools like OrCAD or Altium.
  • Collaborative experience working with people in multiple countries and time zones.
