Leading the development and implementation of a master data management strategy is a pivotal role within our Finance organization. As part of our Strategic Finance team, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and up-to-dateness of our financial data. This involves working closely with finance and leadership teams to identify areas for improvement in finance master data, developing and implementing tools and methodologies to measure and monitor master data performance, leading cross-functional teams to drive master data improvement projects, and identifying opportunities for enhancement and implementing changes to boost the accuracy and completeness of finance master data.

This position requires a seasoned consultant with experience in Master Data Management. Previous exposure to Workday is beneficial. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, high self-driven project management abilities, and exceptional research, writing, listening, and verbal communication capabilities. Strong collaborative skills, enabling them to maneuver large organizations and form trusting relationships, are also essential.

The successful candidate will lead improvement initiatives, develop and implement processes and systems to support the management of master data across the organization, and support the automation journey in Finance. Key Responsibilities:
  • Building and structuring data, processes, and governance
  • Collaborating with finance and business leaders to understand their needs and identify areas for improvement in finance master data
  • Developing and implementing tools and methodologies to measure and monitor master data performance
  • Leading cross-functional teams to drive master data improvement projects and initiatives
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement and leading the implementation of changes to enhance the accuracy and completeness of finance master data
  • Supporting the automation journey in Finance
Requirements:
  • Experience as a consultant – either from a consulting company or similar internal function working with Master Data Management
  • Previous exposure to Workday is a plus
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to tackle complex problems in a structured manner and break them down into relevant and actionable insights
  • Highly self-driven project management, execution, and stakeholder orchestration skills
  • Excellent research, writing, listening, and verbal communication capabilities
  • Great collaborative skills and the ability to maneuver large organizations and form trusting relationships
  • Experienced leading improvement initiatives
