Role Overview:

The Master Data Analyst is responsible for the accurate creation, maintenance, and governance of key master data records—including Supplier, Customer, and other critical information—supporting finance and other business processes. The role ensures high data quality standards, adherence to governance policies, and process efficiency, while also driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Master Data Management

  • Enter, update, and maintain master data attributes in relevant systems as required.

  • Manage and process data requests in a closed-loop workflow, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Extract and analyze data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
  • Create and maintain regular status reports with charts, KPIs, and data insights.

  • Data Quality & Governance

  • Enforce and support data governance policies, standards, and processes.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and consistency across systems and business functions.

  • Collaboration & Support

  • Partner with stakeholders to resolve data-related issues and support operational processes.

  • Assist the MDM Team Leader with ad-hoc activities and projects.
  • Lead process changes and modifications related to master data management.

  • Training & Development

  • Train, mentor, and supervise new joiners and team members.

  • Share best practices to enhance team capability and efficiency.

  • Continuous Improvement

  • Actively contribute to process improvement initiatives and new projects to optimize master data processes.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in master data management, preferably in supplier and customer data.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract, interpret, and present data.
  • Proficiency in data management systems and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Excel, BI tools).
  • Knowledge of data governance principles and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on data accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
