Cloud Infrastructure Specialist Job Description

The Cloud Infrastructure Specialist will be responsible for designing, building and deploying scalable cloud solutions that meet the needs of complex projects. This includes ensuring all facets of infrastructure, security, automation, logging and monitoring are considered.

  • Design and deploy scalable cloud solutions for complex projects
  • Ensure all facets of infrastructure, security, automation, logging and monitoring are considered
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver cloud-based infrastructure solutions
  • Implement cloud infrastructure solutions using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation and Pulumi
  • Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployments and resolve infrastructure challenges
  • Champion best practices in cloud infrastructure design and deployment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, the candidate should have:

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years experience working in cloud infrastructure
  • Technical proficiency: Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and strong skills across Python, Bash, Terraform, CloudFormation, GitHub Actions and Ansible
  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools like CloudWatch, Datadog or Prometheus is a plus
  • AWS certifications are an advantage
