Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to ensure the stability and efficiency of our cloud environments.

Responsibilities
  • Design and manage large-scale cloud deployments, including private clouds, Kubernetes, and application clusters.
  • Apply software engineering principles to operations, leveraging Python expertise to drive devsecops practices.
  • Operate cloud environments through automation and a universal operator pattern, enabling model-driven operations.
  • Approach operations as a data-driven science, relying on metrics and code to inform decision-making.
  • Collaborate in high-pressure operations environments with mission-critical services for global customers.
  • Stay current with open-source infrastructure advancements and gain experience across a broad range of cloud technologies.
Requirements
  • Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Proficiency in Linux and knowledge of Linux networking and storage.
  • Strong Python development skills.
  • Operational experience and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Able to travel internationally for company events.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with OpenStack or Kubernetes deployment or operations.
  • Familiarity with public or private cloud management.
