Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Revenue Cycle Management Trainer to develop and deliver training programs for accounting professionals transitioning into U.S. healthcare revenue cycle management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design tailored RCM training programs for accounting professionals with diverse backgrounds.
  • Conduct live and virtual training sessions on medical billing, coding, claims processing, AR management, and compliance in the U.S. healthcare system.
  • Develop engaging training materials, case studies, and practical exercises to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) and RCM software for hands-on training experience.

Technical Instruction:

  • Teach insurance claims processing, denials management, payment posting, and AR follow-up procedures.
  • Instruct on ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding basics and their integration into RCM workflows.
  • Explain Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance reimbursement policies for the U.S. market.
  • Guide learners in RCM performance metrics (Net Collection Rate, AR Days, First-Pass Resolution).

Coaching & Certification Preparation:

  • Assist trainees in preparing for industry certifications (e.g., CRCR, CPB, CMRS, CHFP).
  • Provide ongoing mentorship and career guidance for job placement in revenue cycle roles.
  • Conduct mock audits, real-world case studies, and practice claim submissions.

Process Improvement & Compliance:

  • Ensure training covers HIPAA, compliance laws, fraud prevention, and best practices.
  • Stay updated with CMS regulations, payer policy changes, and RCM industry trends.
  • Recommend workflow optimizations for reducing claim denials and improving cash flow.

Qualifications & Requirements:


Education & Certification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or related field.
  • At least one industry certification (preferred): CRC, CPB, CHF, CMR, CMRS, or equivalent.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in medical billing, revenue cycle management, healthcare finance, or claims processing for the U.S. healthcare system.
  • Experience in training, mentoring, or teaching RCM-related topics is highly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with RCM software, EHR, and practice management systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Kareo, Medisoft).

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of medical coding (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS) and claims submission.
  • Expertise in insurance billing, payment posting, accounts receivable (AR) management, and reimbursement analysis.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse learner backgrounds.
  • Ability to design training materials and deliver engaging learning experiences.
