Accounting Professional

About the role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to ensure accurate recording of transactions from subsidiary ledgers, proper documentation and tagging of fixed asset acquisitions, and correct valuation of fixed assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining complete and organized accounting records, including invoices, official receipts, and tax remittances, to support compliance and audit readiness.

The Accounting Professional will also monitor actual expenses against budget allocations to help ensure effective financial control. In addition, this role involves reviewing journal entries created by payable and receivable assistants in accounting software supported by required documents, verifying journal entries created by accounting payable assistants, checking customer's entries and its supporting documents, and ensuring the accuracy of sales and purchases summary in preparation of VAT payment.

This individual will be responsible for reconciling accounts from the subsidiary ledger to general ledger account, creating and reviewing journal related Asset depreciation, monthly amortization, closing of other receivables advances and FOREX valuation, and performing and leading physical asset count and reporting to result to management.

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Accounting Technology, Financial Management, or a related field.
  • At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in accounting functions or related areas.
  • Proven experience in recording purchases, expenses, and processing invoices.
  • Strong knowledge of invoice posting, cash disbursement, and general accounting procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions for data analysis and reporting.
