The Network Operations Center (NOC) is a vital component of our organization, serving as the primary point of contact for alerts and requests.

This role plays a critical part in addressing issues with end-user devices, cloud technologies, and basic network troubleshooting.

We are seeking a highly skilled NOC Engineer to join our multinational team, working on a full-time contract basis with opportunities for leadership and technical career progression.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Resolve alerts related to user devices, circuit downs, temperature/water alerts, Cloud alerts, and SOC alerts.
  • Address requests primarily consisting of scheduling after-hours maintenance and device/new customer onboarding.
  • Communicate with vendors and customers, acting as a single point of contact; Coordinate maintenance, after-hours repair, and patch remediation.
  • Pursue assigned projects for the NOC and Support teams.
  • Maintain knowledge base documentation, create new articles, and improve content.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to drive better outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Desktop & Server OS.
  • General understanding of all currently-supported versions of Windows, with an emphasis on Desktop issues.
  • Experience with Cloud Products & Technologies: Microsoft 365, Azure, SharePoint/OneDrive, Exchange Online, Amazon AWS.
  • Knowledge of Identity Management, Authorization, and Security: Azure AD, Okta.
  • Familiarity with EMM/MDM tools: InTune, AirWatch.
  • Understanding of Backups & Disaster Recovery.
  • Proficiency in E-Mail Technologies: General Mail Flow Troubleshooting, Archiving, Retention, Compliance.
  • Experience with Proofpoint, Mimecast, Global Relay.
  • Comprehension of network protocols (TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, DHCP).
  • Diagnostic toolkit expertise in Layer 1-3 functionality.
  • Security skills: Resolve alerts as raised by SIEM/SOC providers, Anti-Virus.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to converse at a conversational English level.
  • A minimum of 3 years of general IT experience, primarily in server, infrastructure support, and networking/circuits.
  • A minimum of 1 year of NOC experience, including knowledge of ITIL-based Service Operations.
  • Strong diagnostics toolkit; approaches an incident with logic, conscientious of time spent on a given issue.
