Revenue Recovery Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized revenue recovery specialist to secure revenue generated by our sales organization, build strong customer relationships, and foster positive interactions with customers.

  • Contact business-to-business (B2B) customers via phone, email, or fax to discuss outstanding invoices and billing issues.
  • Manage a collections portfolio ranging from 300 to 600 accounts, negotiating customer payment terms as needed based on assessment of account status to ensure maximum payment recovery.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customer accounts, championing optimal receivable practices.
  • Work with internal sales reps to proactively troubleshoot payment issues, document and track collections activity, and reconcile accounts regularly.

This role requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills. Experience in corporate B2B collections, fundamental accounting principles, and technology industry experience are assets.

The ideal candidate will have a college diploma in Accounting or Finance, two to three years of experience in corporate collections, and a proven track record of working in a team-oriented environment.
