Job Description

The Quality Control Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the high quality of Palmetto's solar energy assets. This position is responsible for reviewing and approving milestone packages, including project documents, photos, and design details. The primary objective is to drive high-quality standards and clarify necessary remediations to ensure strong portfolio health.

As part of this role, you will review solar monitoring platforms to verify accurate creation and confirm that estimated production meets installed design. Daily project throughput reviews will ensure timely approval or rejection of project milestones, with clear communication to external partners. Additionally, site inspections will be conducted to assess workmanship, both structurally and electrically, to ensure quality standards are met.

This role requires excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and exceptional analytical skills. Experience in photovoltaic design, problem-solving, and project management is preferred. The successful candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to influence 3rd parties.
