About the role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team at Sodexo On-Site Services Philippines, Inc. in Diezmo, Cabuyao City, Laguna. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support and maintenance services to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our facilities.

What you'll be doing

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on a variety of mechanical equipment, including HVAC systems, boilers, chillers, and other industrial machinery
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues, and implement appropriate solutions to restore equipment to optimal working condition
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities
  • Collaborate with the wider team to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
  • Adhere to all relevant safety protocols and maintain a strong focus on quality control

What we're looking for

  • Relevant technical or vocational training in mechanical engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Mechanical Technician or in a similar role
  • Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • A commitment to safety and a proactive approach to maintaining a safe work environment
  • NC Certificate II(TESDA) especially for scaffolding and welding
