Electrical Estimator Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Estimator to join our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and be able to prepare accurate, competitive, and comprehensive tender submissions.

About the Job

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have strong analytical skills. As an Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for solar PV and BESS projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.

Responsibilities
  • Estimation: Prepare accurate and comprehensive tender submissions, including technical proposals, cost breakdowns, and preliminary project schedules.
  • Project Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of project drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and tender documentation to ensure compliant proposals.
  • Tender Management: Engage proactively with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing, lead times, and technical information.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized records of all tender-related documents, communications, and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical estimating or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of solar PV and BESS systems, excellent analytical and communication skills, and ability to work under pressure.
