Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Pull and analyze reports from Xero, building and maintaining Excel-based financial models including three-way forecasting.
  • Support the budgeting, forecasting, and cost control cycle.
  • Manage intercompany journals, transactions, and reconciliations across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
  • Consolidate reporting across different regions.
  • Reconcile subscription revenue using Stripe data ensuring accuracy in recurring revenue streams.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights that help shape business decisions.
  • Act as a trusted partner to leadership delivering confidence and clarity around numbers.
  • Prepare SaaS Metrics reporting.
  • Identify and implement process improvements in finance processes.
  • Tax filings and compliance income tax transfer pricing GST FBT.
  • Compile monthly Management Reports and oversee Year End Financial Statement compilation.
Qualifications:
  • CA or CPA qualified with experience in Australia or New Zealand preferred.
Experience:
  • Minimum 3-4 years accounting and financial analysis experience.
  • Experience leading month-end close processes end to end and intercompany accounting and reporting.
  • Experience managing a team.
  • Exposure to SaaS or subscription revenue models preferred but not essential can be taught.
  • Experience with Stripe preferred.
Skills:
  • High-level proficiency in Excel including financial and three-way modeling.
  • Experience with month-end close and intercompany accounting.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and deliver reliably.
