Job Title: Construction Estimator

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Construction Estimator. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for accurately performing quantity takeoffs and cost estimates from construction drawings and specifications.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in estimating and takeoffs, with the ability to read and interpret construction plans accurately. Proficiency in software such as Smart Glazier and Google Sheets is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Quantity Takeoffs and Cost Estimates: Accurately perform quantity takeoffs and cost estimates from construction drawings and specifications.
  • Construction Plan Interpretation: Read and interpret construction plans to identify project scope, materials, and labor requirements.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure accurate budgeting and project execution.
  • Software Proficiency: Utilize software such as Smart Glazier to create detailed takeoffs and estimates.
  • Data Organization: Organize and track data using tools like Google Sheets to ensure all information is up to date and accessible.
  • Issue Identification: Identify potential issues or discrepancies in plans and recommend solutions.
  • Team Collaboration: Maintain consistent communication with team members to meet deadlines and ensure accuracy in all deliverables.
