Quantity Surveyor Role

About the Job

This is a key position in our construction team where you will be responsible for planning, measurement, and cost management of internal works on a large residential project. You will work closely with the Construction Manager to ensure accurate quantities and cost tracking.

Responsibilities
  • Measure and calculate quantities of materials required for the project.
  • Track and manage costs associated with changes to the project scope.
  • Prepare detailed bills of quantities, cost estimates, and tender documents.
  • Liaise with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors to ensure effective cost control.
  • Use specialized software to measure and manage quantities.
  • Verify architectural and engineering drawings for accuracy.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • Significant experience in Australian construction and quantity surveying/estimation for residential projects.
  • Expertise in estimating software such as CostX / Bluebeam / Planswift.
  • Excellent English communication skills – verbal and written.
  • Self-driven, detail-oriented, and able to work independently within a team environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
