Job Title: DevOps Engineer for Observability Solutions

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our Observability Platform. The successful candidate will work closely with our Observability and DevOps Engineers to design, build, and deploy an Observability solution that aligns with our IT strategy and vision.

  • The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in deploying and managing AWS resources, as well as expertise in Full-Stack Software Engineering using Java or C# and scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell.

  • They will also be experienced in Application Lifecycle Management Tools and technologies, including Source Code Management; git, DevOps platforms; Gitlab, TeamCity, Sonatype Nexus.

  • A strong understanding of Observability pillars and knowledge of tools in this area, such as Grafana, Prometheus, OpenSearch, and CloudWatch is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and build an Observability solution that integrates with our software applications and supports our business needs.

  2. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Observability into our delivery pipelines and application codebase.

  3. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure adherence to process, quality, and architectural design standards.

  4. Deliver against functional and non-functional requirements and take ownership/accountability for key features.

  5. Take part in incident management to ensure production defects are rectified based on their criticality and severity.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience in deploying and managing AWS resources.

  • Expertise in Full-Stack Software Engineering using Java or C# and scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell.

  • Experience in Application Lifecycle Management Tools and technologies, including Source Code Management; git, DevOps platforms; Gitlab, TeamCity, Sonatype Nexus.
