Job Description

As a senior-level engineering leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical execution and delivery of our products.

You will lead sprint planning, retrospectives, and technical prioritization to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery. You will drive a consistent and high-quality development process across multiple engineering squads.

Collaborate with product managers to translate strategic goals into executable engineering work. Identify and resolve architectural or technical debt issues, escalating to Principal Engineer or CTO as needed.

  • Technical Execution & Delivery
    • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects within specified timeframes and budgets.
    • Develop and implement processes that enhance engineering velocity, quality, and reliability.
    • Champion code quality, test automation, observability, and security best practices.
  • Manage and Support a Team
    • Set clear goals and performance expectations for engineers, providing timely feedback and coaching.
    • Collaborate with engineers' technical leads or mentors to ensure ongoing growth and capability development.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Partner closely with Product, Design, and Customer Success to ensure a clear understanding of customer needs and technical implications.

About You
  • You are a technically strong and execution-driven engineering leader who thrives in fast-paced environments.
  • 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2+ years in engineering management.
  • Strong technical background in modern web development (e.g. Python, Node.js, Golang, React).
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) and modern DevOps practices (CI/CD, observability, IaC).
  • Experience working in high-velocity teams that ship iteratively while maintaining high standards.
  • Clear communicator with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
