Job Title: Accounting Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Specialist to join our team of professionals.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine accounting activities, including payroll processing, general ledger posting, and accounts payable and receivable functions.

This is a challenging role that requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare financial statements for multiple clients and industries on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts to ensure accurate and timely information.
  • Understand payroll preparation and its relation to year-end information.
  • Review accounts for accuracy and calculate retained earnings.
  • Assist clients with accounting and payroll issues, as well as basic software problems.
  • Prepare quarterly and year-end payroll tax returns.
  • Assist the audit department with reports from client information.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a relevant field.
  • US accounting experience is a must.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and practices.
  • Experience with accounting software and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering accurate and timely work under tight deadlines.
