About the Role

We are seeking a skilled financial accounting professional to oversee daily accounting functions, manage subsidiary activities, and ensure the integrity of financial data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily accounting functions, including expenses, fixed assets, leasing, intercompany transactions, and financial reporting.
  • Manage subsidiary accounting activities, working directly with third-party accounting firms.
  • Analyze intercompany accounts, post subsidiary trial balances, and perform variance analysis to ensure accurate financial data.
  • Prepare monthly and year-end financial reports, ensuring compliance with US GAAP.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts by identifying solutions to enhance accounting processes and provide support for ad hoc projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree is required, with an advanced degree or CPA certification being a plus.
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience, preferably within a BPO or service company, and a background with an international company.
  • A strong grasp of US GAAP, financial controls, and working knowledge of forecasting and financial reports.
  • The ability to work effectively with all levels of management and motivate others outside of your direct control.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication abilities.
