Trade Lifecycle Specialist - Financial Services

We are seeking an experienced Trade Lifecycle Specialist to join our team in Prime Brokerage Settlements. As a key member of our operations team, you will provide comprehensive operational support for the financial services business, focusing on trade instruction releases, settlement processes, and driving improved controls and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide operational support for day-to-day business deliverables, including release of trade instructions, trade reopening and settlement from core systems, inventory/position management, and inter-company reconciliation prior to settlement date.
  • Manage service quality by following established procedures and ensuring tasks are accurate and timely.
  • Support the Process Vice President in delivering top-quality operations for the global business.
  • Ensure procedures are documented and updated regularly; identify requirements for additional controls.
  • Daily investigation and escalation of issues (e.g., fails and breaks).
  • Provide daily and weekly statistics and reporting.
  • Participate in global and local projects including new business initiatives, system enhancements, and market rule changes.
  • Lead or contribute to process re-engineering to enhance efficiency and controls.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience in Banking and Financial Services/Treasury or related function; familiarity with products and services.
  • Experience in Asset Servicing and Trade Management & Settlements.
  • Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
  • Strong control and audit mindset with understanding of policies and regulations in the industry.
  • Good relationship-building and time-management skills.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours on high-volume days, if required.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and under pressure to meet deadlines and quality goals.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication with key stakeholders.
