Job Title: Senior Network Engineer

Job Description">
  • Provide operational support for the global network environment, offering proactive and reactive support for all network hardware, software, and communication links.
  • Report to the Senior Manager of Engineering and Implementations.

This role requires coordination with Demand or Project Managers and use of network management systems for documentation and implementation requests.

Key Responsibilities">
  • Respond to ticket requests and incident notifications and resolve issues within Service Level Agreements.
  • Manage assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives.
  • Perform Preventative Maintenance activities, such as code updates and equipment updates.
  • Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management and Capacity Management.
  • Develop and maintain operational documentation, including updates to Engineering documentation due to changes, escalation procedures, and vendor contracts.

Security and Audit compliance. Operational-related Moves, Adds, Changes, and Deletes (MACD). Adherence to Operational Standards. Compliance with Engineering Design Standards and established operational processes.

Technical Skills">
  • Networking Technologies: DNS, DHCP, VPN, Network Security, IP Routing Protocols
  • Cisco Networking Technologies: Routing & Switching, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF)
  • Cisco Wireless
  • Meraki Wireless
  • Palo Alto Firewalls
Required Qualifications">
  • 5+ years extensive experience in the support of Cisco Networking Technologies.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Practical technical knowledge of CISCO Networking Technologies.
  • ITIL v3.0 or v4.0 preferred.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with both technical and non-technical audiences.
