Network Technical Specialist Role

This job posting is seeking a highly skilled Network Technical Specialist to provide advanced network services to clients across Australia and New Zealand.

Job Description

As a Network Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting scalable, secure, and highly available network infrastructures for our diverse client base.

  • Collaborate as part of a high-performing team to deliver network solutions that meet client objectives and business needs.
  • Support the deployment and configuration of enterprise networking technologies, including routing, switching, wireless, and firewalls.

Responsibilities include providing proactive operational network management, monitoring, and optimization to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have 5+ years of network administration experience, preferably within a Managed Service Provider or IT outsourcing environment.

  • Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic, and network analytics tools.
  • Proven hands-on experience with enterprise networking technologies from vendors such as Fortinet, Cisco, Aruba, and Palo Alto.
  • Strong knowledge of routing, switching, wireless networking, firewall configuration, SD-WAN technologies, and advanced network security best practices.

Cisco CCNA Routing and Switching certification is desired, along with other NSE certifications from Aruba, Cisco, or Fortinet.
