Supply Chain Management Position

This is a pivotal role in the overall Supply Chain Optimization Process (SCOP) of assigned businesses. The Supply Chain Manager II plays a crucial part in managing and tracking inventory levels to support customer demand through close coordination with supervisors and category managers.

This position involves reviewing and releasing Material Requirements Planning (MRP) signals, executing Purchase Orders, managing supplier delivery and communication, and maintaining target inventory levels as specified by Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage assigned product classes to ensure robust supply planning and control
  • Develop and execute supply chain improvement projects to reduce excess inventory and improve stock availability
  • Conduct daily projections to identify risks and gaps in achieving goals and targets for shipments, past due backlogs, and inventory levels
  • Monitor finished goods inventory and supply levels to maintain established guidelines and support customer requirements
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or Manufacturing
  • At least 3 years' experience in supply chain, purchasing, and/or supply planning
  • Working knowledge of SAP and Oracle database level systems, as well as electronic collaboration tools
  • Strong analytical skills, team player, and project leadership abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
