Job Overview

The role of Supply Chain Planning Director is crucial for maximizing short-term supply and balancing mid-to-long-term supply vs. demand.

This position drives the monthly Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process, translating demand signals into actionable supply plans across all Work Centers.

  • Lead the monthly Operations Supply SIOP Review, incorporating inputs from Demand Planning and Work Center Supply Reviews.
  • Drive supply optimization by collaborating with Demand Planning, Master Scheduling, Operations, and Suppliers to develop an optimized SIOP supply plan.
  • Develop and coach the monthly Supply Review process for each Work Center, ensuring robust data analysis.
  • Confirm available and committed capacity for internal operations and external suppliers to inform supply planning.
  • Manage overall Supply Chain constraints, escalating issues to Operations before supply plan publication.
Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and leadership abilities, and a proven track record in Supply Chain Planning.

They will be responsible for:

  • Leading the development of the SIOP process and implementing improvements.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive supply chain optimization.
  • Managing supply chain constraints and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Analyzing on-time delivery performance and driving continuous improvement.
