Business Intelligence Developer Position

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our Business Intelligence team as a Junior Business Intelligence Developer. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions to support data-driven decision-making within the organization.

In this position, you will work closely with the Business Intelligence team to deliver high-quality projects on time. Your responsibilities will include assisting in all aspects of development, testing, data validation, and implementation of projects. You will also learn and understand Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, and Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) concepts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Business Intelligence team in project development, testing, and implementation.
  • Develop expertise in Business Intelligence tools such as IBM Cognos, Power BI, and Staq.
  • Gain a solid understanding of data analysis and data modeling concepts.
  • Work effectively with Structured Query Language (SQL) and data querying.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong foundation in computer science or a related field. A bachelor's degree is preferred. Additionally, you should possess proven experience in developing and maintaining business intelligence solutions.

It is essential that you have proficiency in at least one Business Intelligence tool and a strong understanding of data analysis and data modeling concepts. Experience with SQL and data querying is also required. Furthermore, knowledge of ETL processes and data integration is beneficial.

A combination of technical skills and soft skills is necessary for success in this role. You should have excellent communication and collaboration abilities, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
