Senior Accountant Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in UK accounting standards, regulations, and best practices.

  • The successful candidate will oversee the preparation and submission of UK corporate tax returns, VAT returns, and P11Ds while ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • They will also supervise and review UK payroll processes, ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations.

In addition to their technical skills, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a high level of accuracy, problem-solving ability, and analytical thinking.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reviewing and overseeing junior accountants' work to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Managing UK corporate tax, VAT, P11Ds, and statutory accounts up until submission.
  • Supervising and mentoring accounting teams.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a UK Accounting Firm is essential.
  • Strong working knowledge of Xero and other UK accounting software.
  • ACCA or equivalent qualification (preferred but not mandatory).
