Lead Data Analyst

The primary objective of this position is to serve as a central figure in our organisation's decision-making process, leveraging data insights to uncover opportunities, influence strategic direction, and resolve challenges across various business domains.

You will collaborate closely with senior management to deliver and maintain reports for key business functions, gather and analyse reporting requirements to support strategic initiatives and data-driven decision-making, and provide assistance to founders with financial budgeting and forecasting models.

Additionally, you will develop and maintain data pipelines, including scripts, queries, and ETL flows to ensure data accuracy and integrity, design and implement scalable data architecture and processes for collection, cleansing, storage, and transformation, and lead the development and maintenance of a centralised data warehouse aligned with evolving business needs.

Timely delivery of accurate ad-hoc reports and insights will be essential to supporting operational and strategic objectives. Presenting analytical findings through clear reports, presentations, and visualisations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders will also be a key responsibility. Furthermore, ensuring that reporting solutions drive sustainable business growth and enhance customer experience will be critical.

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Analyst in corporate, consulting, or startup environments is required.
  • You should possess strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, enabling you to navigate complexity, synthesise large datasets, and communicate solutions effectively.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, SQL (complex queries, database setup & mapping), and Google Sheets/Excel (advanced reporting) is mandatory.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-based data warehouses such as Google BigQuery, AWS, or Azure is highly desirable.
