Job Overview

We are seeking a diligent Quality Control Specialist to ensure the quality and accuracy of solar installations.

This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with various stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have experience in technical or construction-based solar roles and possess excellent organizational skills.

Key responsibilities include reviewing installation photos, job close-out documentation, and solar monitoring sites to verify sold production meets physical installation.

Additionally, this position involves resolving closeout package kickbacks for fast resubmittal turnaround times and handling incoming chat or ticket systems for expedient kickback resolution.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying trends or patterns with partners and driving remediation recommendations.

They will also contribute to partner calls with new and existing operations teams to drive education and best practices in order to increase M1 & M2 pass rates.

Site inspections may be required as part of specific programs.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 2-4 years of experience in a technical or construction-based solar role
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to work with and influence 3rd parties
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize
  • Experience with standard business tools such as G-Suite, Microsoft Office, etc.
  • Ability to climb ladders, access and work on rooftops, including in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to stand, kneel, or bend down for extended periods during inspections
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
