Job Title: Solar Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Solar Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards in our solar projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and verifying all aspects of our solar installations, including design materials, installation photos, and close-out documentation. Your attention to detail and excellent communication skills will enable you to provide clear and concise feedback to our teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Review installation photos and job close-out documentation to ensure compliance with our quality standards
  • Verify design material accuracy and sold production versus physical installation
  • Assess solar monitoring sites, layout, and registered product to identify potential issues
  • Provide detailed feedback to teams on rejected packages, highlighting areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with operations teams to drive education and best practices in solar project delivery
  • Perform site inspections as prescribed under specific programs, accessing roofs and electrical equipment
Requirements:
  • 2-4 years of experience in a technical or construction-based solar role
  • Experience with interdepartmental problem-solving or project management
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to work with 3rd parties
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to climb ladders, access rooftops, and work in varying weather conditions
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
