Hiring: Logistics Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics Operations Manager to oversee and optimize our plant logistics operations. This is a critical leadership role responsible for the entire logistics lifecycle, including inbound port operations and finished goods distribution.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of driving operational efficiency and ensuring seamless logistics execution.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Oversight: Plan and manage the complete flow of materials and finished products from suppliers to customers.
  • Operational Leadership: Direct transportation, storage, and distribution activities, ensuring all operations are efficient and cost-effective.
  • Inventory Management: Implement effective inventory control to meet demand while avoiding unnecessary costs.
  • Vendor Management: Conduct regular performance reviews with carriers and third-party logistics providers, prioritizing safety and efficiency.
  • Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to digitalize and enhance logistics processes.
  • Safety & Compliance: Proactively manage safety across all logistics functions, ensuring strict adherence to safety standards.
  • Customer Relations: Ensure excellent customer service and swift issue resolution.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a Business-related field.
  • A minimum of five years in a managerial or supervisory role overseeing integrated distribution and supply chain operations, preferably in a digitized environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in customer service and sales, with a focus on building customer value.
  • In-depth knowledge of supply chain principles, cost management, and operational excellence.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
  • Familiarity with the Philippine market and experience creating customer-centric solutions.
  • A strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
