We are seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for processing invoices and ensuring timely payments.


Responsibilities
  • Process invoices in line with established business rules, including receiving, assessing and matching invoices to purchase orders and goods receipt notes.
  • Enter matched invoices accurately and efficiently.
  • Run invoices due for payment reports for approval and upload payment files accordingly.
  • Resolve electronic funds transfer rejections and process foreign currency invoices.
  • Track and process approved employee expense claims and maintain supplier master files.
  • Perform monthly supplier reconciliations and ensure timely response to supplier queries.
  • Drive continuous improvement across the accounts payable process and prepare analyses of accounts.

Skills / Attributes Required
  • Strong understanding of finance systems and processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive, highly motivated and flexible individual with high organisational skills.
  • Strong data entry skills and experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Accounting or CPA qualified (preferred).

Qualifications / Experience Required
  • Bachelor degree preferably in Business Administration, Accountancy or Finance.
  • 1-2 years experience in an accounts payable role.
