Job Opportunity

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Fund Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for calculating the net asset values of investment funds, ensuring accurate accounting and financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with relevant procedures and policies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Calculate net asset values of investment funds by processing daily transactions and reconciling positions and cash against reports from brokers/custodians.
  • Perform accounting-related functions to ensure fund prices are accurate, including calculating management and performance fees.
  • Making payment instructions for various funds and correspondences with investment managers, shareholders, auditors, lawyers, and banks.
  • Ensure fund books and records are reconciled and periodic reviews are completed.
  • Setting up new funds or changes in fund structure like liquidations or side pockets.
  • Main contact for investment managers and other relevant parties such as Directors, Lawyers, Auditors, Banks, Brokers/Custodians, and shareholders.

Ideal Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field.
  • Prior experience in banking, investment firms, or accounting/audit firms highly preferred.
  • Understanding of financial statements, investment products, and financial markets highly desirable.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, pivot tables, chart creation, and complex formulas/functions.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy under pressure with strong attention to detail.
